I remember you
do you remember me?
I have long brown hair
and blue-green eyes like the sea.

I just remembered the day you said hello
and at night when we said good-bye,
when you said I was beautiful,
when I told you I was shy.

I remember now the day we met
and we both just had to smile.
Our sense of humor brought us together
and we could talk on end for miles.

I see now that it was a friendship
that grew stronger everyday
but things just happened
and everything just became disaray.

So my dear friend I feel our distance
has grown bigger every day.
What we had was shortly lived
I guess I have nothing more to say.
